To achieve a smaller form factor, this battery intentionally lacks deep discharge protection. We recommend discharging the battery to a minimum of 2.8 volts. It must then be recharged at 40–60 mA @ 4.2 volts. Our 14500 dual charger is suitable for this purpose.
