The separation of the Semmering from the municipality of Breitenstein in 1919 necessitated the establishment of a separate municipal office in Breitenstein. The Gemeindestube and also the post office were accommodated in the Gasthof zur Post, which belonged to the then Mayor Johann Hanl.

The hotel is located next to the Semmeringbahn and opposite the Breitenstein train station.

Today the building is in private ownership

In the immediate vicinity are the most famous tunnels and viaducts of the railway. With all its simple elegance, there are numerous subtleties, which have also been implemented in the model. This also includes the concavely curved roof! All parts have been redesigned. Even if they do not have a Semmering railway at home, you can use this model to bring the atmosphere of a famous mountain railway to your facility. Nothing is more convincing than the original. Please compare the offerings of the large-scale producers on mountain railway!
