The slightly higher surface tension of this oil reliably prevents evaporation or runoff before and during the soldering process. Dosage can be very precise. Any commercially available soft solder can be used.Since this flux also serves to remove grease from the area to be soldered and to prevent corrosion during the soldering process, you should definitely clean the finished joint (soldered joint) with denatured alcohol.
