In contrast to earlier decoder generations (at ZIMO and othercontrollers) were the sound decoders at MS & MN - i.e. the more complex types- as the first on the market. The types without sound are largely derived from this:they are NOT trimmed for low costs, but for optimal functionalityonality as it results from the agreement:MS sound decoder and MN non-sound decoder are of one piece.Same hardware, apart from the special components for theSound generation, and jointly developed software mean- Same driving behavior (among other things important for locomotive groups),- same (very similar) configuration, including the ZIMO specials as"Swiss mapping", scripts, registration under DCC and mfx, and much more.- same project organization (sound projects or decoder projects)Therefore, there is this one common operating manual for sound andNon-sound decoder.
