KM ÖBB 1010/1110, ÖBB1010 / 1110 MX645P22 PLUX22 Professional sound for H0

The ÖBB 1010 was an electric locomotive series originally designed as an express train locomotiveAustrian Federal Railways. For decades, locomotives were an important mainstay of theelectric railway operation of the ÖBB.The Austrian Federal Railways planned in the post-war period after the most importantmain connections could be driven again at 120 km/h and were electrified, new onesprocurement of electric locomotives. The ÖBB wanted electric locomotives that were approved for 130 km/h andhad an output of 3000 kW. The main connections were with in the fiftiesolder series (1570, 1670, 1670.100 and 1018). Since these rows meet the requirements ofÖBB no longer corresponded and the ordering of further copies of these machines was therefore not possiblewas more in question, the ÖBB decided to procure new locomotives. Based on theSeries 1040 and 1041 was the series 1010, at the same time as the construction of the series 1110. TheHowever, the ÖBB limited the axle load to 18 tons, as it was a versatile for the 1010 seriesarea of operation planned.
