ÖBB Signals from 1945, scale 1:87
1945-1980: The fourth termAfter the war, the second light points and additional wings were removed at the distant signals. The round Vorsignalscheiben and the new wing of the main signal signals were retained. In 1949, still in use today light shunting with four white points of light was created, which replaced all other Verschubsignale in the sequence. It also created a new light blocking signal (present-day protection signal). In the post-war reconstruction points were often built with 500 m radius, in deflection 60 km / h allowed (as opposed to 40 km / h with 190 m radius). This higher velocity could not be signaled with the previous signal aspects. So it was decided to extend the three-aspect signaling system for a further term "drive at 60 km / h". For the new concept of the lamp combination green-green was provided, so far, however, for "driving at 40 km / h" was. Therefore, first the lower green color filter had to be replaced by a yellow at all main signals, which in a single day - was carried out - the July 12, 1954. At the same time new, four-aspect distant signals were introduced on the Swiss model. Double leaf shape signals could the new term (rather than driving at 40 km / h) on the additional panel "60" show.A month later (August 9, 1954) began trial operation with four-aspect light signals on the Western Railway, from 15 September 1956, the four-aspect signaling has been widely introduced.
Design of all signals:
Operation: analogue or digital, connection blue cable common plus, cable colour determines the lamp colour. The signal has a plug-in base, it can be separated from the base without removal.Base size 15.5x14mm
